Pilates Teacher Training Lakeland
Rooted in the classical repertoire and principles established by Joseph Pilates, the training honors the original teachings while expanding to contemporary moves that allow you to focus on how to evolve and teach the body in front of you. This modernized approach ensures you develop the adaptability and expertise needed to meet the unique needs of every client.
Our program offers a 300hr Mat and Reformer certification or a 500hr complete Comprehensive certification. Upon completion of the 500hr program students will be eligible to take the National Pilates Certification Program (NPCP) exam. For those already certified in Mat and Reformer, we offer 170hr Apparatus certification.
At Sculpted Swan, we are proud to serve as a training center under Pilates Education Institute (PEI), a program designed to set you up for complete success as a Pilates professional. Recognizing the demands of today’s busy schedules, our program follows a self-paced model, allowing you to balance your training with life’s commitments while staying on track to achieve your certification.
How Our Program Works
Seminars
Seminars are immersive, long-form learning experiences designed to deepen your understanding of Pilates and refine your teaching skills. Each seminar, lasting 6-11 hours (possibly over two days), combines the engaging depth of a college-style lecture with the practicality of hands-on practice.
During these sessions, all students come together at our studio to learn and master the foundational movements essential to Pilates instruction. Under the guidance of Highly Qualified Trainers, you’ll explore the principles, techniques, and nuances of each exercise while building confidence in your teaching abilities.
To further enhance your experience, our skilled Sculpted Swan instructors work alongside students, providing hands-on guidance, feedback, and reinforcement to ensure the skills you learn are fully integrated.
These seminars are not just about learning—they’re about connection, practice, and growth, preparing you for success as a well-rounded and capable Pilates instructor.
